Today’s Closet Raspberry is Irish comedian and television erm man, Ed Byrne.  No, being Irish does not make him a Rasp (well not completely anyway!) However, appearing to have extraordinarily low nipples does.  I was excitedly (bored) watching BBC’s new comedy (ha) drama Reunited when suddenly Mr Ed (not the horse) had no top on (iPlayer clip available here. You LUCKY people!)  At first I thought he was doing a hand stand, but no, he was on his funny little Irish feet!

I have sent a Tweet to Ed asking him the following:

Dear Mr Byrne, do you really have low nipples? Are your willing to come out of the closet of denial and say I’m a Raspberry and proud?

For anyone who missed Reunited (lucky swines) , it was on BBC1, Wednesday, June 30th at 9pm.  The show it self was written by Mike Bullen, (the Cold Feet fella) so it was rather disappointing that it was cack!  Oh, and casting Ed as they sexy cool one? (sorry Ed, in Aladdin you were fab) come on!  This is like employing Abu Hamza as a child psychologist!
