Project Name: 140 characters tweet

Goal: To have 140 individual Twitter users to send a video of themselves saying the word
“tweet”. All video clips will then be added together to make one continuous video of 140
characters saying tweet.

Instructions: Simply record yourself on a phone, computer, etc saying the word “tweet” and send it to marty@theraspberry.co.uk. It’s that simple, it should only take you minutes unless you decide to be more creative with your clip. You can send a basic clip of you just saying “tweet” or like I said, you could be more creative, ie riding a bike, juggling, sitting in a tree, eating cake, sitting on the loo, whatever as long as it’s not horrible! A video of you doing something that you do when you tweet would be interesting. It’s really up to you, all I ask is that you make sure of the following:

• Start the recording and wait for 2 seconds before saying “tweet” then wait 2 seconds before stopping the recording.
• The video must consist of the word “tweet” only.
• The word “tweet” must be clearly heard.
• The word “tweet” must be said by an individual, a human one!

What am I doing this for? I’m doing it because I want to, there’s no incredibly profound reason for me to harp on about. I just simply like the idea of it and am intrigued as to how it would look, sound and feel to watch.

Interesting, boring, exciting, dull, initially I think it would be fun, interesting, even exciting to watch. But the end outcome of this project is out of my hands, it’s up to you to decide. I’m offering the platform and opportunity, it’s down to you as an individual twitter user to play your part in making it exist as you’d like it to, or even not exist at all.
