Banking On Banks
I really don’t like the Lloyds advert with the montage of horses doing wonderful things that have helped mankind over the years, as this some how mirrors their own characteristics and worth to humanity. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very well made and visually and audibly pleasing.
But seriously? if these heroic and dependable horses were really to show a true reflection of Lloyds, the horse plowing the field would have been sitting behind a desk calculating it’s fee for crop advise. The fire would have been started by the horse, then the horse would charge for the water. The army horses would have been supplying the guns, for an extortionate fee clearly. The horses in the water would have let them drown and the milk float horse would never have stopped. The horses pulling the wedding carriage would have slept with the groom the night before without regret and the non normal in the wheelchair would definitely be bucked off into a tree just for entertainment during a dinner break.
Lloyds, taking the piss for 250 years.
